About Trinity Security Solutions

We help organizations and communities design safer environments through Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). Our work blends security expertise with urban planning, architecture, and human behavior.

Our mission

At Trinity Security Solutions, our mission is to help organizations create safer, more secure environments through Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), comprehensive security assessments, and practical risk-reduction strategies.

With decades of combined military, law enforcement, and security experience, we identify vulnerabilities before they become problems and provide site-specific recommendations designed to protect people, property, and operations.

From retail centers and office campuses to parks, schools, and residential developments, we partner with owners, architects, and municipalities to build layers of protection into everyday spaces.

Owner & Founder

Phillip Thompson CPD, FCP

Phillip Thompson is a CPTED-certified professional with more than 25 years of law enforcement experience and 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy. His career has included more than two decades of conducting national and international site surveys and assessments, providing him with extensive experience in crime prevention, risk identification, and the evaluation of the built environment.

Throughout his career, Phillip has evaluated a wide range of properties and environments to identify security vulnerabilities, assess potential risks, and develop practical recommendations to improve safety and security. His experience conducting national and international security site surveys has provided him with a broad understanding of the unique challenges organizations face when protecting people, property, and assets.

As a state- and nationally certified CPTED professional, Phillip applies the principles of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design to help organizations create safer environments through thoughtful design, access control, visibility, lighting, territorial reinforcement, and effective security practices.

His approach focuses on practical, site-specific solutions rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. By combining decades of law enforcement experience with extensive security assessment expertise, Phillip works to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations that are realistic, effective, and appropriate for each client's needs.
